This place is very unhelpful for my mental breakdown and suicude attempt. We were on a schedule like kids. We had groups that were classes and never had any one on one counciling just one daily five minute or less with a doctor who was working on someone else chart while your telling them your not doing well. The food was horrid! Then I get a bill for 12100$ for 12 days of involuntary treatment. Yeah now I'm feeling more depressed then before and now medical bill I can't pay. They have homicidal patients with everyone else. This man kept punching people in the back of their heads and they did NOTHING!!!!! Don't go here for help you won't get it, I feel worse and even more hopeless.
The staff here cares about all the patients. On the CD (chemical dependency) side patients get a 10 min. phone call every day. There are counseling groups the patients go to during the week. It is not a medical detox so the patients aren't given subaxone or methadone. Some people come here, because they like that. They want to be clean off everything. This facility also specializes in dual (psychiatric and addiction) diagnosis because there are psych wards and the chemical dependency unit.
My wife is in here and I can't even get a response on how she's doing. Some of the rules aren't seeming to help they should be able to contact their loved ones. It will help them. But instead this place got me all worried wondering what's going on and how my wife is doing because she didn't get to use her phone call today which is her phone call day.
I was here for 17 days and the staff helped so much and showed they actually wanted the best for us. They show they care and they put themselves in our shoes. I was scared to come here but they helped a lot.
They are way understaff and most of the staff were complete assholes . When I refused my meds the doctor told me I was waisting space and they had no further need to help me. Completely terrible
